I don't usually have plenty of free time but when I do, I like to spend it with family. I take life seriously and am very strict about my principles.

I was born and brought up in Pakistan and moved to the USA at the age of 16, so I am familiar with both the Pakistani and the American culture and know how to keep a balance between the two. I am a Muslim Alhamdulillah! I try to pray at least two-three times a day and fast during Ramadan.

I have a positive attitude towards life..

More about me then..

. I am mixed race - chinese, indian and pakistani at a ratio of 5:2:1 for those who care.

I was raised 'as a pakistani' and I guess, more importantly, as a Muslim. I come from a big family, and the most important people in the world to me are my mum and nanima.

I am currently working as an Investigator (sounds cool huh?) so part of legal regulation (yeah, not as cool as you thought). I have studied law at degree level and the LPC, so ultimately the goal is to be a solicitor.

I've spent most of my life studying and concentrating on my career, so never really taken an interest in finding someone to settle down with. I'm probably going to get along with your mum if she watches Star Plus - yes that's right, I'm a big freshy at heart! But I think I've got the east/west balance right.

I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy dining out, attempting bowling, embarrassing myself at pool, watching movies, playing scrabble and writing poetry.

I love my shoes, and if we get married, I want to have a room especially for my shoes (I don't have enough to fill up a whole room yet but that's the aspiration!). I haven't travelled very much, but that's something I intend to do a lot of as I grow older, and it would be nice to share that with the right person (and if I end up with the wrong person, I'm sorry but I'll be leaving you at home when I set off on my adventures.
